As winter rushes away and spring comes forth with a symphony off color... blah, blah, blah. Cast off the shackles of propriety and answer the call of mischief, mayhem, merry making and madcap frivolity. Join in the silliness and fun that is March Madness. There will be a fool’s tourney for both heavy and rapier and of course all fighters are expected to show an appropriate level of foolishness in the lists.
• Heavy tourney — first will be a fools crested joust (on stick horse of course), the second part will be the crested tourney (without horses). As part of this there will be a competition for Best War Horse and one for the Best Fool’s Crest; also Most Outrageous Death.
• Rapier — will include a Fool’s Crested Tourney, also with a competition for Best Fool’s Crest/Hat and Most Outrageous Death and Fanciest Kill.
• A third competition will be held to determine the champion of the day — a Japanese tourney of Ro-Sham-Bo (rock, paper, scissors).
Other activities:
Bardic — Best foolish performance, Quick the Bard (combat musical chairs), Stomp the duck, A Castle toss for the smalls, There will be another kids activity, Arts and Science: Best Silly Hat
Dinner is potluck, themed to the 7 Deadly Sins. Cards will be provided on site to list ingredients and for you to label what Sin your dish falls under.

First Congregational Church of Anchorage (2610 East Northern Lights Blvd, Anchorage AK 99508)
In Anchorage South/West, head north on Lake Otis past 36th. Turn right onto Northern Lights and head east for less than a minute. Site is on right side of road, take second right into lower/east parking lot. Use caution, parking lot entrance is easy to miss.
In Anchorage North/East, head west on Northern Lights past Bragaw and UAA Dr. Site is on left side of road just past the Goose Lake intersection and requires a U-turn to reach parking lot. Use left turn lane that leads to Wendler Middle School as a U-turn, now on Northern Lights heading east and take first right into lower/east parking lot. Use caution, parking lot entrance is easy to miss.
